My first travel blog-post should definitely go about the city I love the most. The city where I’ve lost my heart… ♥LONDON CITY♥ I can’t get enough of this city. I’ve been there soooo many times. You’ll never get bored!
The first time I went to London, was 8 years ago. Together with my mom we decided to go there to have a shopping-day! In London you always have the best brands and boutiques that you can imagine. Always the latest fashion and clothing styles. Always up to date!
Already arrived I was attracted by everything. The great buildings and streets, just wow. Everyone is their own. The people are so unique, so different. I took pictures from everything and ooof – couuurse a picture with the famous red phone booth! When I look back at all those visits, I’ve changed so much over the years. Unbelievable! Yet every time I go back it feels good. A home feeling where I feel comfortable. Where I can be myself. My biggest dream is to live there. A small cozy apartment between large crowds. I would love it!
There’s so much free stuff to do in London. Most of London’s major museums are free entry. There are so many beautiful parks to walk around like Hyde Park, and lots of markets where you can soak up the vibe without actually purchasing something. You can walk around The Thames and (ofcourse) take pictures of the Big Ben and London Eye.
What I also love about London is that you have different types of roads and styles. An example : you’re walking in super cosy Chinatown and a few blocks further you walk in the most elegant street in London, New – Old Bond Street. If you want to go somewhere, you really don’t need a car in London. I love to travel by subway, it’s so easy! What I recommend is a day pass, you can travel the whole day for 25 £. You can also take a bus or black cabs (but that’s more expensive). But if you have enough time and want to see London, just walk and explore.
I think the best time to go to London is winter. The streets are beautiful, everywhere lighting and you can enjoy the winter-sales items @ Oxford Street! Last year, I went to London to celebrate New Years Eve. Soooo many people! The day after we went to the Harry Potter Studios. That was definitely worth it!
